Medscape, in collaboration with the University of Houston College of Optometry, presents online interactive case activities for CME and COPE credit.

This activity is intended for optometrists, ophthalmologists, allergists, rheumatologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers who treat patients with dry eye disease. The goal of this activity is to review the latest advances in the understanding of dry eye disease.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  •  Discuss risk factors for dry eye and signs and symptoms
  •  Identify and assess exacerbating factors for dry eye in special populations
  • Evaluate options for the optimal treatment of dry eye, with a focus on special populations
