Mark Davis, OD
Dr. Mark K. Davis is a 1985 graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. He has practiced in San Antonio since 1986. He specializes in difficult to fit contact lens patients, the treatment of eye disease, especially glaucoma and dry eyes and Laser Vision Correction. Dr. Davis is past president of the Bexar County Optometric Society. He has also served as an officer and on the Board of Directors of the Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Davis is also a member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Davis is a Lt. Colonel in the Texas Air National Guard and is Chief of Optometry for the 147th Medical Group of the USAF. He has been on several military humanitarian missions, providing rudimentary eye care to the native population. Dr. Davis lectures nationally and statewide on a variety of topics concerning eye care. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Houston, College of Optometry helping to educate and train the future Doctors of Optometry for the state of Texas.
