Red eye diagnosis and management may often times be difficult due to the similar presentation of various anterior segment diseases.  This course highlights and review common red eye presentations seen in the optometric practice. 

 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Distinguish and differentiate the various red eye presentations seen in the optometric setting.
  2. Be able to formulate a treatment and management plan for commonly seen red eye presentations.
  3. Develop and prioritize a list of differentials for common red eye presentations.

Biography:
Dr. Zanna Kruoch graduated from the University of Houston, College of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry in 2009. She went on to complete a one-year residency specializing in anterior segment disease and specialty contact lenses. Currently, Dr. Kruoch is clinical faculty for a Dallas-based community clinic called Cedar Springs Eye Care where she works with 4th year extern students. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a board certified clinician with the American Board of Optometry.
