Optometry Disaster Recovery Fund
Hurricane Harvey has impacted our lives like never before. To assist in recovery efforts, our Foundation for Education and Research in Vision (FERV) has launched a “Disaster Recovery Fund”. Funds will be used to assist individuals in need. To donate by mail, send a check payable to the Foundation for Education and Research in Vision (FERV). Include “Disaster Recovery” in the memo section and mail to: University of Houston College of Optometry, Attn: Liz Mauzy, 4901 Calhoun Road, Houston, Texas 77204. UH Cougar Emergency Fund
While Houston has undergone unprecedented devastation, we have seen the best of humanity emerge in helping those in need. Help students adversely impacted by the storm. To make a donation, you may go online and contribute to the UH Cougar Emergency Fund (indicate "Harvey Relief- Optometry" in comment box). Tax deductible donations to this fund will be utilized to provide comfort and ease to UH students who are enduring hardship as a result of the storm.
Harvey Relief Fund for Faculty & Staff Facing Hardship
If you want to help UH faculty and staff with storm hardship financial needs, you can give at UH Hardship Fund. (indicate "Harvey Relief- Optometry" in comment box).
